Located in West Berlin, NJ, Technobox, Inc.’s talented engineers and production staff offers extensive OEM industry experience with years of component and PCB supplier relationships – providing over 175,00 boards to prominent defense, aerospace and industrial automation clients such as: Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon. ISO 9001:2015, VITA and IPC610 certified, our environmentally-controlled facility includes ESD flooring and an in-house database specially tailored to electronic manufacturing. We handle both leaded and RoHS assembly, as well as conformal-coating and on-site functional product testing.
Our unique manufacturing process utilizes top-of-the-line equipment and ensures the construction of reliable, high-quality electronics. This extensive range of production capabilities allows for total customer confidence at a competitive price. The facility includes:
R&D Vapor Phase Reflow System
Our top-of-the-line SMT equipment the RD2 Vapor Phase reflow oven uses Galden LS230 with a precise boiling point of 230 deg C. This process works for older product tin/lead soldering (1997 to 2005) - future manufacturing will be RoHS.
MEK M22XFDAz-350 Optical Inspection
The most versatile inspection engine from MEK. Reliably inspect SMT and THT component bodies for presence/absence, type polarity, offset, text, colours, etc. The only desktop AOI on the market that can be equipted with 9 cameras: 1 top and 8 side.
MyData (MY100LXe) SMT Pick-and-Place
The MyData (MY100LXe) pick-and-place machine is the heart of our SMT line. Equipped with a manual load adapter for securing the boards a “tray wagon” for matrix supplied components and several “magazines” for handling components.
Austin American X30A Washer
The X30A washing machine has a chemical wash followed by a closed loop deionized water rinse. The wash and rinse fluids impinge on the boards in a broadside manner, thereby getting under low profile components to wash away flux residues.
SpeedPrint SP700 Stencil Printer
The SpeedPrint 700 stencil printer manually loaded and unloaded with boards and has 2D paste inspection capability used for fine pitch components. Its under-stencil wipe typically operates every 2-to-10 prints depending on the board complexity.
Dryzone XCL-1200-6 Drybox
The Dryzone desiccator is especially designed and made to comply with J-STD-033/IPC standards. Widely used all over the world. They are perfectly suited for industrial use and also great for the home-user to tackle any and all humidity problems.
